    WeighPay HSS - Hardware Support Services IOT

    How to Install WeighPay HSS

    1. Log into WeighPay Online page (weighpayonline.com).
    2. Go to Download page and download WeighPay HSS install file. Extract downloaded file and run it.
    3. Follow install steps and finish install process.
    4. On desktop, right click on WeighPay HSS icon, select Properties, then select Compatibility tab. Mark check box Run this program as Administrator, click Apply then OK.

    How to Uninstall WeighPay HSS

    1. Go to Windows Apps & Features section.
    2. Select WEIGHPAY HSS and click Uninstall button. Follow uninstall steps and finish uninstall process.

    Troubleshooting

    If WeighPay HSS will not open, in order to fix the issue, you can try next solutions:

    • Restart WeighPay HSS (close WeighPay HSS app and open it again)

    • Restart computer

    • Reinstall WeighPay HSS (Uninstall WeighPay HSS and install it again).

    Note:

    To unlock WeighPay HSS app you can use:

    Username: companyuser

    Password: WeighPay123


    WeighPay Mobile

    How to Install WeighPay Mobile

    WeighPay Mobile is application created for Android OS. It can be installed onto native Android device and on Android Emulator (i.e. Bluestacks) for Windows.

    1. If you want to install WeighPay Mobile app on Android device (Cell Phone, Tablet), you need to go to weighpayonline.com, click on your username (top right) open download page and click on Android APK install link and install it. You may need to click to allow unknown sources in Android settings then click to install.
    2. If you want to install WeighPay Mobile app onto Bluestacks.com, you need to log into WeighPay Online (weighpayonline.com), then from Download page download WeighPay Mobile app and run downloaded file.

    How to Uninstall WeighPay Mobile

    1. If you want to uninstall WeighPay Mobile from Android device (Cell Phone, Tablet), you need to Settings/Apps, search for WeighPay Mobile and uninstall it.
    2. If you want to uninstall WeighPay Mobile from Bluestacks, you need to open Bluestacks, go to Settings/Apps, search for WeighPay Mobile and uninstall it.

    WeighPay Pro

    How to Install WeighPay Pro

    1. Log into WeighPay Online (weighpayonline.com). Go to Download page and download WeighPay Pro.
    2. Run downloaded file and follow the install steps and finish install process.

    How to Uninstall WeighPay Pro

    1. Go to Windows Apps & Features section. Select WeighPay Pro and click Uninstall button.
    2. Follow uninstall steps and finish uninstall process.

    Troubleshooting

    If WeighPay Pro will not open, in order to fix the issue, you can try next solutions:

    1. • Restart WeighPay Pro (close WeighPay HSS app and open it again)
    2. • Restart computer
    3. • Reinstall WeighPay Pro (Uninstall WeighPay Pro and install it again).

    IP Camera Setup (Foscam IP)

    How to Set Camera

    Using user manual, you need to set next camera settings:

    1. Resolution needs to be set to 320x240
    2. IP address of the camera need to be set to static
    3. Create new admin account for camera: 
    Username = WeighPay123
    Password = WeighPay123


    How to Set Camera in WeighPay Mobile

    If you want to set Customer camera into WeighPay Mobile, you need to:

    1. Go from WeighPay Mobile Home page to Settings/Cashier/Customer/IP Camera
    2. Set Camera type to JPEG
    3. Set URL = http://IPADDRESS/cgi- bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=WeighPay123&pwd=WeighPay123
    4. After you make changes, click Test IP Camera button
    5. If you want to set Gross camera into WeighPay Mobile, you need to:
    6. Go from WeighPay Mobile Home page to Settings/Scalestations/Scalestations 1/Gross Scale/IP Camera
    7. Set Camera type to JPEG
    8. Set URL = http://IPADDRESS/cgi- bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=WeighPay123&pwd=WeighPay123
    9. After you make changes, click Test IP Camera button

    If you want to set Tare camera into WeighPay Mobile, you need to:
    1. Go from WeighPay Mobile Home page to Settings/Scalestations/Scalestation1/Tare Scale/IP Camera
    2. • Set Camera type to JPEG
    3. • Set URL = http://IPADDRESS/cgi- bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=WeighPay123&pwd=WeighPay123
    4. • After you make changes, click Test IP Camera button

    How to Set Camera in WeighPay Pro

    If you want to set Customer camera into WeighPay Pro, you need to:

    1. Go from WeighPay Pro Home page to Settings/Cameras/Cashier/Cashier/IP Camera
    2. Set Camera type to JPEG
    3. Set URL = http://IPADDRESS/cgi- bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=WeighPay123&pwd=WeighPay123
    4. After you make changes, click Apply button

    If you want to set Gross camera into WeighPay Pro, you need to:

    1. Go from WeighPay Pro Home page to Settings/Cameras/Scale stations/Scale station1/Gross scale1/IP Camera
    2. Set Camera type to JPEG
    3. Set URL = http://IPADDRESS/cgi- bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=WeighPay123&pwd=WeighPay123
    4. After you make changes, click Apply button

    If you want to set Tare camera into WeighPay Pro, you need to:

    1. • Go from WeighPay Pro Home page to Settings/Cameras/Scale stations/Scale station1/Tare scale1/IP Camera
    2. • Set Camera type to JPEG
    3. • Set URL = http://IPADDRESS/cgi- bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=WeighPay123&pwd=WeighPay123
    4. • After you make changes, click Apply button

    Troubleshooting

    If camera is not working in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro, you should check next possible issues:

    1. Camera is not connecting to network (not visible in IPCameraTool) Fix for this issue can be:
    2. Restart camera (unplug camera from power supply and plug back in)
    3. Restart computer
    4. Restart router (unplug router from power supply and plug back in)
    5. Reinstall camera and set it up in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro again.
    6. Camera is connected to network (visible in IPCameraTool) Fix for this issue can be:
    7. Compare IP address of the camera in IPCameraTool and in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro, if IP address is different, change IP address in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro and click Test IP Camera/Apply button.


    Note

    IP CameraTool is software used for detecting Foscam IP cameras in network and showing their IP addresses. You can download it from foscam.us/support page (Tools & Apps section).


    Thermal Printers

    How to Setup Star Micronics TSP143IIILan Printer

    Using user manual for device, connect printer into network and set printer IP address to static.

    1. To connect printer to print in WeighPay Mobile, you need to go, from WeighPay Mobile Home page, to Settings/Printers/Network printer/Star Network printer and set next values:
    2. Printer type need to be set as POS Printer
    3. IP Address field need to be populate with IP address of the printer
    4. Page type need to be set to 2.8’’
    5. Printer mode need to be set as Graphics
    6. Click Print Test Page button.

    To connect printer to print in WeighPay Pro,

    from WeighPay Pro Home page, to Settings/Printers/Ticket printers/Ticket Printer 1/StarIO printer and set next values:


    1. Connection type need to be set as Network(TCP/IP)
    2. IP Address/device id/port name field need to be populate with IP address of the printer
    3. Printer type need to be set as POS Printer
    4. Printer mode need to be set as Graphics
    5. Page type need to be set as 2.8’’
    6. Click Apply or Apply and print test page button.

    How to Setup Star Micronics USB TSP143IIIU Printer

    1. Install printer driver using disk that came with the printer. 
    2. Plug printer in USB port.
    3. Open WeighPay HSS software.
    4. Unlock WeighPay HSS, select Printers/Printer1. Select Enabled check box.
    5. Click Chose Printer button, then select Star TSP100 Cutter (TSP143) printer. Select Enable Logo check box.
    6. Click Load button, and select jpg file that consists logo of the company. Click Test Print button.
    7. Click Save button.


    To connect printer to print in WeighPay Mobile

    From WeighPay Mobile Home page to Settings/Printers/Windows printer and set next values:

    1. HSS Address field need to be populate with IP address of the computer where printer is plugged in
    2. Port need to be set to 8734
    3. Device need to be set to Printer 1
    4. Printer type need to be set to 3’’
    5. Click Print Test Page button.

    To connect printer to print in WeighPay Pro

    you need to go from WeighPay Pro Home page to Settings/Printers/Ticket printers/Ticket Printer 1/StarIO printer and set next values:

    1. HSS Address field need to be populate with IP address of the computer where printer is plugged in
    2. Port need to be set to 8734
    3. Device need to be set to Printer 1
    4. Printer type need to be set to 3’’
    5. Click Apply or Apply and print test page button.

    Troubleshooting

    Star Micronics TSP143IIILan Printer

    If printer is not printing, possible issues are:

    • Printer is not connected to network. Fix for this issue can be:
    • Restart printer (unplug printer from power supply and plug back in)
    • Reinstall printer ( Re-connect printer to network).
    • Printer is connected to network. Fix for this issue can be:
    • Compare IP Address of the printer with printer IP address in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro app. If it is not matching, change IP address in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro app.

    Star Micronics TSP143IIIU Printer

    If printer is not printing, possible issues are:

    1. Go to Printers and Devices and check if printer is printing test page.
    2. If printer is printing test page, then open WeighPay HSS and unlock it.
    3. Test printing test page from WeighPay HSS. If it does not print, make sure correct printer is selected. Then test printing again and click Save button.
    4. Log into WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro, go to Printer Settings page and make sure IP address entered into HSS Address field is correct.


    Scanner (Canon DR-C240)

    How to Set Scanner

    1. Install driver for scanner from disk that came with device. Plug scanner into USB port.
    2. Open WeighPay HSS and Unlock it. Go to Scanners/Scanner1 page.
    3. Select Enabled check box.
    4. Select TWAIN device and click Select button.
    5. In the list, select Canon DR-C240 TWAIN 1.123(32-32) and confirm chose pressing Select button. Click Test Button, then click Save button.

    How Set Scanner in WeighPay Mobile

    To connect scanner to scan in WeighPay Mobile, you need to go, from WeighPay Mobile Home page, to

    Settings/Scanner/HSS Scanner and set next values:

    ♦ HSS Address field need to be populate with IP address of the computer where scanner is plugged in

    ♦ Port need to be set to 8734

    ♦ Device need to be set to Scanner 1

    ♦ Crop id image need to be selected

    ♦ Click Test scanner button.

    Troubleshooting

    If scanner is not scanning document in WeighPay Mobile app, you need to check next possible issues:

    ♦ First, make sure scanner is scanning from windows.

    ♦ Then, if windows test scan is good, open WeighPay HSS and make sure it scans from there. If it does not work, make sure correct scanner is selected.

    ♦ If scanning document is working from WeighPay HSS, open WeighPay Mobile app, go to Scanner settings page and make sure IP address of the computer is correct.

    Signature pad (ePad-ink)

    How to Install epad-ink

    Go to epadsupport.com, download Universal Installer and Integrisign Desktop. Install Universal Installer, then install Integrisign Desktop.

    Plug Epad-ink device in Usb port. Open WeighPay HSS and unlock it.

    Go to Signature Pads/Signaturepad 1 page. Select Enabled check box.

    Model need to be set to ePad Ink. Device ID need to be set to ePad-Ink. Click Test button.

    Click Save button.

    How to Set epad-ink in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro

    To connect signature pad to WeighPay Mobile, you need to go, from WeighPay Mobile Home page, to

    Settings/Cashier/Signaturepad/Using HSS and set next values:

    ♦ HSS Address field need to be populate with IP address of the computer where signature pad is plugged in

    ♦ Port need to be set to 8734

    ♦ Device need to be set to Signature pad 1

    ♦ Click Test Signature pad connection button.

    To connect signature pad to WeighPay Pro, you need to go, from WeighPay Pro Home page, to

    Settings/Devices/Signaturepads/Signature pad/HSS Signature pad and set next values:

    ♦ HSS Address field need to be populate with IP address of the computer where signature pad is plugged in

    ♦ Port need to be set to 8734

    ♦ Device need to be set to Signature pad 1

    ♦ Click Apply and test button.

    Troubleshooting

    If signature pad is not working, in order to fix the issue, you can try next solutions:

    ♦ Unplug ePad-ink from USB port and plug back in.

    ♦ Restart WeighPay HSS.

    ♦ Open WeighPay HSS and test signature pad. If it does not work, unplug ePad-ink from USB port and plug back in.

    ♦ If ePad-ink works in WeighPay HSS, then open WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro, go to Signature pad settings page and check IP address (IP address needs to match with IP address of the computer where signature pad is plugged in).

    Network Scale

    How to Set Scale

    Network Scale need to be set to work in Continual Mode with <CR> return. IP address of the scale need to be set to static.

    How to Set Scale in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Mobile

    In order to set scale in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro, you need to know IP address and Port number

    of the scale.

    - To connect network scale in WeighPay Mobile, you need to go, from WeighPay Mobile Home

    page, to Settings/Scale Stations/Scalestation 1/Scale/Network scale and set next values:

    ♦ IP Address field needs to be populate with IP address of the Scale

    ♦ Port # needs to be populate with port number of the scale.

    ♦ Select Continual Mode

    ♦ Click Test connection to Scale button.

    - To connect network scale in WeighPay Pro, you need to go, from WeighPay Mobile Pro page, to

    Settings/Devices/Scales/Scale station1/IP scale(Network scale) and set next values:

    ♦ IP Address field needs to be populate with IP address of the Scale

    ♦ Port # needs to be populate with port number of the scale.

    ♦ Select Continual Mode

    ♦ Click Apply or Apply and test scale button.

    Troubleshooting

    If scale is not working in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay Pro, in order to fix issue, you can check possible issues:

    • Scale is not connected to network. In this case, you need to call scale company and ask for help.

    • Scale is connected to network. In this case, you need to check IP address and port number and match it with IP address and port# in WeighPay Mobile/WeighPay pro software.

    Advanced Settings

    WeighPay Mobile

    There are few changes you need to set in WeighPay Mobile app settings:

    ♦ From WeighPay Mobile Home page, go to Settings/Ticket/HD Ticket and make next changes:

    • Select Hide prices for scale users and Hide market price and profit.

    • Select Default payment type for SELL tickets: AR Billing

    ♦ From WeighPay Mobile Home page, go to Settings/Ticket/Advanced and make next changes:

    • Enable Edit UOM need to be selected

    • Keep Edit UOM need to be selected

    • Hide prices on print need to be selected

    • Force Location Name need to be selected

    • Click on Ticket UI then Hide all button except Tickets, Waste Ticket, Start Ticket

    ♦ From WeighPay Mobile Home page, go to Settings/Ticket/Print and make next changes:

    • Number of copies for cashier ticket need to be set to 2.

    WeighPay Pro

    There are few changes you need to set in WeighPay Pro app settings:

    ♦ From WeighPay Pro Home page, go to Settings/Ticket/Edit and make next changes:

    • Select Hide prices for scale users and Hide market price and profit.

    • Enable Edit UOM need to be selected

    • Keep Edit UOM need to be selected

    ♦ From WeighPay Pro Home page, go to Settings/Ticket/Payments and make next changes:

    • Select Default payment type for SELL tickets: AR Billing

    ♦ From WeighPay Pro Home page, go to Settings/Ticket/Print and make next changes:

    • Number of copies (Cashier Ticket – Total) need to be set to 2.

    • Hide prices on print need to be selected

    • Force Location Name need to be selected

    User Privileges

    WeighPay Online

    There are four types of WP Online user, CompanyAdministrator, CompanyUser, CompanyCustomerUser and Sheriff.

    In the process of adding/editing user, in Role(WP Online) field, you need to select the type of user, CompanyAdministrator, CompanyUser, CompanyCustomeruser or Sheriff .

    In WP Online, go to Company/Users, then Edit the user you want to change privilege and, on next screen, follow the next steps:

    • If you select Role(WP Online): CompanyAdministrator, by default, you will have full access to WPOnline Menu.

    • If you select Role(WP Online): CompanyUser, by default, you will have restricted access to

    WPOnline Menu.

    • If you select Role(WP Online): CompanyCustomerUser, by default, you will have restricted access to WPOnline Menu.

    User with CompanyCustomerUser role can access to scale tickets, AP and AR transactions and BOL Shipping Reports.

    • If you select Role(WP Online): Sheriff, by default, you will have restricted access to

    WPOnline Menu.

    User with Sheriff role can search Tickets and access to Ticket Detailed Report.

    Also, system allows to change default privileges for a specific user.

    On Edit User page, you need to go to Settings, then on next page you can allow or disallow access to WP Online Menu pages.

    WP Mobile/Pro

    There are three types of WP Mobile/Pro user, Administrator, Cashier and Scale.

    In the process of adding/editing user, in Privilege (WP Mob/Pro) field, you need to select the type of user, Administrator, Cashier, Scale or None.

    In WP Online, go to Company/Users, then Edit the user you want to change privilege and, on next screen, follow the next steps:

    • If you select Privilege (WP Mob/Pro): Administrator, by default, you will have full access to

    WP Mobile/Pro Features(all buttons on WP Mobile/Pro Home screen will be available).

    • If you select Privilege (WP Mob/Pro): Cashier, by default, you will have restricted access to WP Mobile/Pro Features(some of the buttons on WP Mobile/Pro Home screen will be disabled).

    Cashier user has less privileges then Administrator user.

    In this case user will not have access to Reports, Settings, Bonus, Deduction and Tare Settings button.

    • If you select Privilege (WP Mob/Pro):Scale, by default, you will have restricted access to WP Mobile/Pro Features(some of the buttons on WP Mobile/Pro Home screen will be disabled).

    Scale user has less privileges then Cashier user.

    In this case, user will not have access to Reports, Cash Drawer, WP Online, Products, Settings, Bonus, Deduction and Tare Settings button.

    Also, by default Scale user has restricted access to Ticket Home screen.

    Scale user can create new ticket, and save it. But it cannot finish ticket (Pay ticket out), because scale user does not have access to cash drawer. Therefore, scale user does not have access to Delayed Tickets, AP Tickets, ATM Tickets, Customer Display and Customer Face App buttons.

    • If you select Privilege (WP Mob/Pro):None, you will not have access to WP Mobile/Pro App.

    Advanced Settings: In WP Mobile, you have ability to change default settings for the user types. This means you can allow or disallow access to specific button on WP Mobile Home screen, Ticket Home screen and Reports screen.

    ♦ In WP Mobile, from WP Moble Home screen, go to Settings/Advanced, then go to Security

    section and select for each Screen/Button item the security mode for the selected item.

    • If you select Scale security mode for the item, access to that item will have Scale users,

    Cashier users and Admin users.

    • If you select Cashier security mode for the item, access to that item will have Cashier users and Admin users.

    • If you select Admin security mode for the item, access to that item will have only Admin

    users.

    • If you select None security mode for the item, all users will have access to that item.

    ♦ In WP Pro, from WP Pro Home screen, go to Settings/Ticket/Security and select for each Screen/Button item the security mode for the selected item.

    • If you select Scale security mode for the item, access to that item will have Scale users,

    Cashier users and Admin users.

    • If you select Cashier security mode for the item, access to that item will have Cashier users and Admin users.

    • If you select Admin security mode for the item, access to that item will have only Admin

    users.

    • If you select None security mode for the item, all users will have access to that item.

    • If you want to add any type of user, you need to contact technical support (www.weighpaysupport.com/support).

    • All user accounts used for WP Mobile and WP Pro need to have Role(WP Online) set up as

    CompanyUser(Role(WP Online): CompanyUser).
