How to Record a Shipment and Receive Payments in WeighPay (California Bottle Beverage Recyclers)?
This guide will walk you through the steps of recording a CRV (California Refund Value) shipment and receiving a payment against that shipment using the WeighPay system.

Log in to your WeighPay account and navigate to your CRV inventory.
This section contains the details of your California bottle beverage recycling inventory.Select the CRV material you want to ship.
For this example, we’ll choose aluminum cans.Choose the shipment destination by selecting the company or location you are shipping to.
- Example: Shipping to Calcot Companies.




Add the product details for the shipment:
- Select CRV aluminum cans as the product.
- You can see the last shipment date and the amount of CRV material still available to ship.
- Example: 4,353 pounds left to ship.
Input the weight you want to ship:
- Enter the weight you are shipping.
- Example: 1,000 pounds.
Confirm the shipment details:
- This will generate a Bill of Lading for the shipment, which can be used by your truck driver to deliver the load.
- The system will display key details such as the DR6 ticket, weight, redemption amount, refund amount, and any conversions.




Go to the Reports section:
Navigate to Reports > Inventory > Shipping Reports.View the shipment you just created:
The system will display the shipment, including the weight and details of the CRV material you shipped.


Search for the shipment:
Use the Search function to find the shipment you’ve sent. The system will show you any shipments made on that day.Review the expected payment amount:
For example, the system may show that you are expecting a payment of $1,660.Record the payment received:
- Enter the actual amount you received from the processor.
- Example: If you received $1,640, enter this amount.
Save the payment:
This will track the payment against the shipment.






Generate a shipping report:
Navigate to Reports > California CRV Shipping Shipment Reports.Run the report:
Select your location and date range to generate the report.Review the shipment and payment details:
- The report will show details of the shipments made, including:
- Redemption weight.
- Refund amount.
- Actual payment received.
- Difference between the expected and received payments.
