Creating a CRV Ticket Using WeighPay's Web Application

WeighPay’s web application allows for quick and efficient creation of CRV (California Redemption Value) tickets. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a CRV ticket using the simple and user-friendly interface of the WeighPay system

Step 1: Accessing the WeighPay Application
  1. Open the WeighPay Web Application on your laptop or desktop.
  2. Log in with your credentials to access the dashboard.
Step 2: Finding a Customer
  1. Locate the Customer:
    • Use the search function to find an existing customer in your database.
    • If a customer is not already in the system, you may need to create a new customer entry.
Step 3: Building the CRV Ticket
  1. Start a New Ticket:

    • Initiate a new CRV ticket by selecting the option to create a new transaction.
  2. Quick Keyboard Entries:

    • WeighPay supports quick keyboard shortcuts for different materials:
      • A for Aluminum
      • G for Glass
      • 1 for PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
    • This allows for rapid entry without needing to switch between the keyboard and mouse.
  3. Enter Material Details:

    • For each material:
      1. Select the Material by pressing the corresponding key (e.g., “1” for PET).
      2. Enter the Weight:
        • Input the weight (e.g., 15 pounds) and the net weight will automatically be calculated.
      3. Add More Materials as needed by selecting their respective keys and entering the weights.
  4. Editing and Managing Entries:

    • If you make a mistake:
      • Remove the Item by selecting and deleting the incorrect entry.
      • Edit the Item if only a correction is needed.
    • You can continue adding multiple materials (e.g., glass, PET) by using the shortcuts and entering their weights.
  5. Finalize the Ticket:

    • Once all entries are correct, press Alt + Enter to finish the ticket creation process.
    • The system will generate a receipt or ticket.
Step 4: Printing the Ticket
  1. Choose a Printer:
    • You can print the ticket using either a thermal receipt printer or a regular printer.
    • The system is optimized for printing from a laptop, making it cost-effective and accessible.
Step 5: Managing Reports and Customer Data
  1. Run Reports:
    • Access the reporting engine to generate and review reports on all tickets created.
  2. Manage Customer Database:
    • Use the application to manage customer records, ensuring all transactions are linked to the correct customer.
