Phase 1 training covers inputing your products, customers and base board prices via upload templates or manually creation.
Log into WeighPayOnline.com and navigate to the PRODUCTS menu
Phase 1 is entirely completed using this menu set.

Lets start by setting up Buy Product Groups to better organize your products into different catagories.
This step can be down using a download form or by manually typing in the Group name and clicking the ADD button.
Product Groups: A Group of products is how you organize products so you can select the group onscreen and then select the product within that group in order to add weights or quantity.
Example: Copper is a Group and Copper #1 is a product within that group.

Group Types/Shipping Groups can be imported via the uploading the excel form or manually entered one at a time.
Setting the Group Type is mandatory and important for report segregation and compliance reporting purposes.
The system offers default types, Ferrous, Non Ferrous, Waste, Accounting etc.
Example: The Copper Group would be a Non Ferrous Type.

Products can be added using an excel form where you can download, populate and upload or you can manually add one at a time.
Products - in WeighPay One there are 2 types of products. There are Buy side products that are used for purchasing items and there are Sell side products used for selling or charges.
When creating a product you will need the Unit of Measure (UOM) it could be by the LB, TON, NT, GT, LTON, MTON, EA, COUNT etc.
You will need to select the Group and the Group Type when creating a new product as well as select the base UOM and the Sell by UOM if that is relevant to your business.
There are additional tabs to select from Compliance and Other info

Step 4: Enable and Set the Base Price
Navigate to the Set Buy Product Prices page
Products need to be turned on to be accessible.
- Click Edit
- Set enable to YES
- Set Public $ (enter your price) this is your lowest base price for walk-in traffic.
- You can also set the market sales price (this is the price you will sell this product for), this will show you a profit margin on the inventory page.
Quick Access (most used) - optional
You can also set the Quick Access and QA Priority, this pulls the product out of the group and puts it on the screen so its easier to find. This is done for your most used products and can be ordered with #1 being the top left and #15 being the bottom right. In WP Mobile you have rows of 3 with 1-2-3 being the top row.
The system does auto save products used by the customer, each time you add a customer to a ticket it will show their top 10 products most recently used. There is no need to use Quick Access.

Repeat for Sell Side Menu Setup
